- 1. I think I did a good job blending the paint and making it work the way I wanted it too because I could use darker and lighter shades throughout my painting.
2. I could of done a better job on my last painting (States) because I feel I rushed it and could of done much better.
3. For my past, I painted the united states and filled in all of the states that I have lived in. For my present, I painted Iowa because it is my current state. For my future, I painted a veterinary logo to symbolize what I wish to do when I grow up.
4. I decided to use blue and yellow paint to create unity among all of my paintings because I love the color blue and I like the contrast in the two colors.
5. I really do not like watercolor, it is hard to control and difficult to fix when you mess up. It is good for panting a light background.
6. I learned how to better control my paint and not get mad when I mess up. This will help me be more patient in life.
7. With mostly all of my paintings, I usually just paint and randomly come up with some new ideas as i go. I based these paintings off my preliminary designs and made a light sketch on the watercolor paper before I painted it.
8. Yes, I think this a good first project because it is a good way to learn about others in the class. It helps introduce their painting style and gives a little background on themselves as well.
